On June 22, 2010 the Board of Education selected a calendar for the 
2010-2011 school calendar based upon recommendations from the District 
Calendar Committee which is comprised of parents, teachers, classified 
support staff, and administrators.

The start of school for students is Wednesday September 1, 2010.  The week 
off at Thanksgiving remains in place, however to accommodate the later 
start of school the furlough week that was schedule for February has been 
removed.  The last day of school will be Thursday June 9, 2011.  The 
calendar committee will meet again in the fall to develop the 2011-2012
