Website improvements
We have a new way to view our elementary school menus and learn about the nutritional content of our foods. Just go to schoolmenu.com and browse to our school district or create a login and password so you can go right to the school menu of your choice. The website provides menu and nutritional information as well as fitness advice, allergy information, coupons, and a kids area. The secondary menus will be posted soon.
Our webiste will have a new look soon -- please come back and visit, often.
SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT
As many of you might have heard, King Nut peanut butter and some Parnell’s Pride Peanut Butter products have been recalled due to the risk of Salmonella.
The following message was received from USDA: No peanut butter product from this manufacturer has been distributed through USDA commodity programs.
Peanut butter and/or peanut butter products purchased through Las Virgenes Unified School District's foodservice are part of the USDA commodity program and therefore not part of this recall.
